Wheels Class Pass Information
Class Pass Request Form | Fun Trips

What is a Class Pass?

This popular program allows teachers within the Tri-Valley area the opportunity to take their students on field trips, traveling on a Wheels regularly scheduled fixed route bus for FREE.  Each teacher is eligible to receive two Class Passes every school year.

Simply fill out a request form at least two weeks prior to the trip.  This will allow time to plan a personalized trip and to mail out a copy of the Pass, along with a Bus Book and some helpful tips for a safe, enjoyable ride.  Wheels will plan out the best route and time closest to what was requested, using regular fixed route bus stops.

Are There any Restrictions?

Yes.  The following must apply to your trip:

  • The group must use regularly scheduled Wheels fixed route buses at designated bus stops.
  • The trip must be taken Monday through Friday, between 9 AM and 2 PM.
  • Maximum people allowed per Pass is 30.  (If there are more then 30, you will need to split your people into 2 separate groups, which will depart at different times, differing in time as much as one hour.)

How Do I Get My Class Pass?

At least two weeks before your trip, use one of the two links below to request your Pass:

The form may also be mailed to the Wheels Community Outreach Coordinator, 1362 Rutan Drive, Suite 100, Livermore, CA  94551.  Call (925) 455-7555 for additional information.

Once we have your request, we will plan your trip and mail you the Class Pass along with a Wheels Bus Book and helpful tips to ensure a fun and safe ride!
